The Education Team, alongside the Chief and Council, recently went on a trip to Stanley Park for a two-day Co-Regulation workshop.

This immersive experience provided valuable insight into understanding physical and emotional responses, equipping everyone with positive coping mechanisms for navigating challenging learning environments. Updates will be provided about the Co-Regulation Creation Space to come at the school. Where anyone can come and access these tools.

In other exciting news, the Nation has welcomed the arrival of a new bus equipped with handicapped access. This addition not only enhances transportation services but also promotes inclusivity within our community, ensuring that everyone can participate fully in various activities and events.

The School Trip Planning Committee had its first meeting on Tuesday, May 14th.

Furthermore, the Construction Foundation is looking for community members to participate in a trade’s discovery session in FSJ.

This hands-on opportunity will involve making copper bracelets and concrete planters. We invite anyone interested to reach out for more information.
