Elders Get Active For Frisky Friday Program

Every Friday our Elders in Community have been traveling to Fort Nelson to walk the track, enjoy some shopping and a fun outing. Tony LaRocque, Director of Health and Wellness, monitors basic health indicators for all participating Elders to identify any health issues that may need attention.

“This is a preventative wellness program that is both fun and helps us identify any health issues early. Early identification can really make a difference.” says Tony. He added “This Elders Wellness program has been very successful and we are planning to expand it to include urban members over the next few months.”
