New Culture Program – Danezaa Word of the Day
“Danezaa word of the day” is a new initiative created to increase the use and visibility of the Beaver language to members of the Prophet River First Nation.
The program will cover useful words and short phrases that can be used in daily activities and daily life.
Language revitalization is a long journey, and these are small steps toward revitalizing language in your community.
We must thank the Doig River First Nation on the amazing work they have done to record, document and share the Dane Zaa Language for all to access freely. Also credit to First People’s Cultural Council for the creation of the FirstVoices website (FirstVoices.com) for all to access Dane Zaa Zaage!
