Recently Heritage North and Prophet River First Nation conducted forestry archaeological assessments in Trutch. During the assessment, over 750 artifacts were collected from a disturbed site previously impacted by a forestry road. This is only a sample of what was found. This confirms there is significant potential for more artifacts to be found throughout the valley.
