December was a joyous time for Councillor Tsakoza and her family. They celebrated her eldest son’s 10th birthday and received the exciting news that their family will be growing, with a new addition expected in August 2025.

The traditional territory of the Prophet River First Nation is situated mainly in the boreal forest region of northeastern British Columbia.
